WE GOT KEYS!!!

WOW . . .

We FINALLY GOT KEYS!! Can't you believe it?!?! We can't!!

We did our walk through with the Senior Site Manager on September 12th and oh how exciting it was to actually walk through the house, do the inspection and take our keys!!!

We've taken heaps of shots of the house (as it was on the handover date) and of some more work that has been done since . . .

You will see in some of the shots that the solid timber floor has been started and we are hoping that they will have that finished early next week . . .

We are thinking about moving in there in around 2 weeks (there will still be some work to be done - the floor guys have to come back to sand and polish the timber and then when thats done, we will have the carpet installed . . . so stay tuned!!

ABOVE: This is a picture of the tub in the main bathroom.

ABOVE: This is a picture of the main toilet. As you can see the tradesmen have already been busy here and brought along their own roll!!! :D

ABOVE: This is a picture in one of the guest bedrooms . . . the shot is taken from the far corner of the room and shows the wardrobe (on the left) and through the doorway you can see part of the hallway and the bathroom/toilet doors.

ABOVE: This is a shot of the hallway where the bedrooms/main bathroom is . . . you can see there is a dishwasher abandoned up at the top end . . . only until the floors are down in the kitchen and then it will go back to where it belongs!!

ABOVE: This is a shot covering bits of the hallway/family/dining and kitchen areas . . . you can see there are patio doors which lead out on to our deck area in the outdoor room! Again note the nice new floor!! Its starting to look more like a house every day!! :D

ABOVE: This is a shot from the kitchen side of the island bench . . . again more tradies tools, lots of wood and stuff that they need . . . where the blue cords are is where our dishwasher will live and on the left hand side you can see where the microwave will live!



ABOVE: This shot shows what is behind the kitchen island bench that you saw in the image above. Again we've got caesar stone benchtops here and we've got what looks like a fab oven (can't wait to try it out!!). You can also see our glass splash backs!!

ABOVE: This shot is taken in our bedroom . . . standing in front of the window, you can see the double entry doors and the hallway which leads through to the ensuite. You can see Lincy's little wardrobe on the left side of the hallway and opposite that is Lou's walk in wardrobe! YAY!!!

Note the view . . . no plants or driveways yet, but we're working on it!! :)



ABOVE: This shot is taken standing at the front door and looking down the hallway to the family/kitchen area. On the right hand side you can see the doors to the Master bedroom. On the left is the entry to the sitting room . . .



ABOVE: This is the walk way from the main hallway which leads into the garage. On the right hand side is a doorway which leads to the walk through pantry and there is also a walk in linen closet. On the left there is a broom closet. The wooden floors will run through here also . . .


ABOVE: This is a shot from the kitchen into the dining area. Again there is another sliding door leading on to the deck. Here we will have our big dinner table and chairs!! Who wants to come for dinner??!?!?

ABOVE: This is a shot of the sitting room at the front of the house. You can see another big window facing the front (as in the master bedroom) and there on the wall is our gas fire .. . which looks fabulous when its turned on!! Oh yeah and its remote control!!! :D

ABOVE: This shot is of the tub in the ensuite. A nice big window facing out into the yard .. .will need to get some nice blinds to give us some privacy here when we're washing! : )
