We know its been a while . . . Part 1

Happy New Year to one and all!!!

Yes, we know that its been a while since we've provided some updates as to whats been happening with Team BowSullivan but we have some valid reasons . .

1. The Builders were supposed to take a month off over Christmas (but it was actually 6 weeks or so) . . . so NOTHING happened!! NOT HAPPY JAN!




2. When work did start, we headed out to the block and took lots of happy snaps, but Lazy Lincy just didn't bother uploading them for you all to see!!! ;)

Anyway, we won't complain about Lincy too much . . . and we'll focus on the job at hand . . .

Here are some of the progress pictures . . .

WE GOT WOOD!!!! : )

This shot (and several others) shows all the wood that

was delivered to the site for the construction of the

frame etc

This shot shows our lovely windows, sliding doors and

our front door frame that the lovely builders dropped to the

site BEFORE they took their month holidays off!!!

I mean what kind of builder leaves wooden window frames out in the

summer sunshine of Lancefield?!?!?! IDIOTS!!

This is a side shot of the house where the builders have

dumped the trusses (I think thats what they're called)

in my outdoor room area . . . Glad my deck isn't down yet,

otherwise they might have scratched it!!! hahaha :)

I really should turn this picture around, but the camera just ran out

of battery power, so I will do it another day . . .

This is my Lincy imagining what it will be like to use the LOO in

our very first home!

As you can see, another trip to the block proved fruitful - the builders did

some work and actually cut some wood and started to mark out some of the rooms

in the house . . . We were very excited when we saw this as now we could actually figure out

where each room started and finished .. . SOON WE WILL HAVE WALLS!!!

This is a shot of the front sitting room and you can kind

of see the garage off to the right . . .

This is a shot of the walk through pantry . . . which will be really

nice when its done . . . only problem is that we won't have any money

for food when this is all finished . . .

So this is it for the moment . . . we do have MANY more pictures to upload and I'm sure that we will have heaps more in the next coming weeks . . . so please stay tuned and keep checking in on our progress . . .
