WOW . . . It looks like a house Part II

WOW . . . Can you believe it . . . we've got ceilings AND walls!!! These shots were taken on the weekend (27/04/08) . . . the plasterers had been there working on Anzac Day to get the job done!! What troopers!!! All of the builders should be like them!! :)

The above pic shows the sickly Lou inspecting the workmanship . . .(I had a bad dose of the sniffles on the long weekend, but couldn't be kept away from seeing my house!)

This image shows Lou doing her inspections with her toothcomb! Lincy being the good boy and following in tow . . . heheh

The above shot shows Lou standing in the hallway on the left hand side of the house (where the leisure room, laundry and 3 guest bedrooms are). You can see the doorway (on the right), this leads into the open-plan family/meals/kitchen area . . . just beyond the doorway is an 'Arty-Farty' opening between the hallway and the family/meals/kitchen area . . .

This picture shows a mess!! hehe Actually this picture shows the dining area, which is currently full of our kitchen cabinets/cupboards and our internal doors . . . all waiting to be installed!!! YAY!!! How exciting!! : )

This picture was taken when Linc was standing in HIS (apparently) rumpus room . . . if you look in the background, you can see me pottering around in the family area . . .

This shot was taken when Lincy was standing in the dining area, looking across into the kitchen area . . . YAY!! They have cupboards installed!! The space in between the cupboards will soon become home to our KICK-ASS stainless steel oven/stove! Lou is looking into the fridge space (having a look at the tools stored there by the builder and dreaming about the new fridge she just cannot afford!). The door way in front of Lou (on the left of the pic) is the entry into the pantry . . . OOOHHH Aren't we going to be posh?!?! ;)

This shot shows the kitchen area from another angle (lincy loves taking his pictures!!) haha Again you can see the fridge space (which is actually larger than it appears in this pic), the pantry, the entrance hallway and the front door. If you look you can see black pipes coming out of the floor in the centre of the pic . . . this is where there will be an 'island' unit, which will house the sink, dishwasher, microwave and more storage space . . . All of the benchtops will be covered in a fabulous Caeser Stone bench . . . so hopefully the builders won't install that until last so it doesn't get damaged!

This photo shows Lou standing in the dining area again having a nose around the supplies that have been delivered . . . again you can see the cupboards, the laundry and kitchen sinks are in the boxes and there is the skirting boards for the house!

Another one of Lou being Inspector Sticky-beak!! : )

This shot shows the bedroom hallway, the 'Arty-farty' opening and the kitchen area . .

This shot was taken from the garage side of the pantry, looking through to the kitchen!! Finally we will have storage space!!!: )

Lou standing in an 'opening' in the hallway, near the master bedroom . . . this will more than likely house a shelf and maybe a big mirror or a picture . . .

This shot was taken from the garage hallway - you can see the internal garage door and the room next to it, is the linen cupboard . . .

This shot shows Lou standing in the external doorway of the garage . . . just gazing down the side of the house . . . well not gazing . . more than likely inspecting the handywork!! : ) Lincy seems to think that this will be Lou's one and only trip to HIS garage . . hehe . . yeah right . . ; )

This shot shows the garage from another angle . . . you can see Lou disapperaring into the main part of the house . . .

This shot is of the ensuite in the master bedroom . . . on the right is the tub, in the centre is where the cupboards go (and the his 'n her sinks) and to the left of that is where the shower will be . . .

The above shot shows the shower in the master bedroom ensuite

This shot shows the master bedroom toilet and part of the shower

This shot shows the tub in our ensuite . . . nice big window which leaves in lots of light! Only bad thing is the neighbours might see in . . hehe . . . we'll have to start saving for blinds . . . haha : )

This is the hallway from to the garage . . . on the left is the broom closet, on the right is the entrance to the pantry, then the linen cupboard and obviously, the door to the garage!

The above shot is in the master bedroom, showing the main window which looks out to the front of the house!

This shot is still in the main bedroom . . . the window is behind Lincy the photographer and you can see the passage to the ensuite . . . the first opening on the left is the doorway, the second opening on the left is Linc's wardrobe . . . opposite that is Lou's walk-in-robe (hehe)

Inside Lou's walk-in-robe (part 1)

Inside Lou's walk-in-robe (Part 2) . . . look at all that space for new clothes and shoes!!! YAYY!!! P.S. Poppy, can you design me some shoe racks?? :P

This shot shows the sitting room . . .you can see the fireplace in this shot!

This is the make-shift front door . . .

This is a shot of the master bedroom . ..

That's all for the moment folks . . . Please stay tuned as its getting close to finishing time!!! :)

Don't forget to leave some comments!!
